Digital mail forwarding: send your German mail to an address that scans it for you

Point your Deutsche Post forwarding order (Nachsendeauftrag) at a Clevver address and read your mail online from then on. Letters and registered mail are accepted for you, parcels forwarded worldwide on request. No fixed home needed, and nobody has to empty your mailbox.

How it works

  1. 1

    Book an address

Choose a location for your digital mailbox, for example Berlin, Friedrichstraße 155. You get a fixed mailing address in your name.

  2. 2

    Redirect your forwarding order

Enter that address as the destination in your Deutsche Post forwarding order. At the same time, update your address with your bank, insurers and other senders.

  3. 3

    Read your mail online

Every item shows up in the app. You decide whether just the envelope or the contents get scanned, then open the document on your phone or computer.

By the time your forwarding order expires, mail is already arriving at the new address directly.

What we accept for you

ItemWhat happens
LettersAccepted, scanned as you choose, made available digitally
Registered mailAccepted and signed for on your behalf, then available in your mailbox
ParcelsAccepted and stored short-term, photo of outside and contents on request, forwarded across Europe or worldwide via DHL, FedEx or a local carrier

Good to know: according to Deutsche Post, its forwarding service doesn't send registered mail or DHL parcels abroad, among other items. With a Clevver address in Germany, those items still reach you.

Good to know

Not a registered address. Your Clevver address is a mailing address, not a residence. You can't register your residence there.
