Search for a virtual mailbox and you'll mostly find US providers with a very large number of locations, and providers focused on Europe. Which one fits depends less on the number of addresses than on data protection, cancellation terms, country coverage, and what you actually need it for.

For context: comparing location counts alone doesn't say much. An address in London only helps you if you actually need mail there. What makes an address qualify for that in the first place is covered in Virtual address, virtual office, or mailbox.
Criteria that actually matter for your decision
1. Where do you need the address? If you just want a US address in any city, providers with many locations give you plenty of choice. If you need an address across Europe, the UK, and the US from one provider, the number of smaller locations matters less.
2. Data protection. For EU-based businesses, where scanned mail is stored and whether a data processing agreement (DPA) is available matters. Ask each provider directly if their website doesn't say.
3. Cancellation and contract length. A registered office typically comes with fixed terms, at Clevver that's 3, 6, 12, or 24 months. A mail service without a registered-office function is usually cancellable monthly.
4. Identity verification. For US addresses, the USPS requires identity verification via Form 1583. At iPostal1, the form has to be notarized according to their website, an online notary is available for $25. Ask each provider how this works for customers outside the US.
5. Extra services. Do you need company formation, a registered agent, tax advice, or a phone number? Then it matters whether they all come from one provider or you have to coordinate several.
6. Language and support. Support in your language and your time zone is worth more day-to-day than it looks on paper.
Example: a founder based in Spain
A founder in Barcelona runs an online shop with customers in the UK and the US. He needs a London address for his registered office, a US address for returns, and a registered agent for his LLC. He wants to pay for everything in euros and see all his mail digitally in one place.
For him, coverage, data protection, and whether everything comes from one provider matter more than the total location count. Someone who just wants a cheap US address for Amazon returns might pick a different provider. This example is invented.
